Marriott'S Shadow Ridge I - The Villages - Palm Desert

This place suits me perfectly! I enjoy the outdoor swimming pool, fitness center, and 24-hour reception. On my first stay, the staff provided valuable local info. I highly recommend it and am coming back for Christmas!

fairly clean accommodation, incredibly welcoming and consistently courteous staff in outside services. a living room, a dining area, and a coffee machine available in the double room.

The hotel was in a remote setting to left towards curtains rather than right towards kitchen area. Lucky that it was at a moderate distance from Tim Hortons, offering food to go. Had tasty drinks in the pool bar in the evening.

great access to parks and gardens for city strolls

While staying at this hotel, I loved that it was a 20-minute walk to the beautiful Sunnylands Center & Gardens, where I could wander through fine gardens and take in local art. The Children's Discovery Museum was only about 2.5 km away. Perfect for weekend travelers like us wanting a mix of nature and culture.

Staff and food are perfect here, had a good stay for every vacation. The units are reasonably large with nice view. The location is magnificent, 2 miles from Children's Museum. Hotel restaurant is good for breakfast.

The location and rooms were wonderful. All in all we liked brand-new room with a full kitchen and balcony and a patio or balcony. Had a very very good stay on a vacation & will be back.

Straight talk, worth it or not?

The staff was friendly, the pools were well maintained, and the environment was relaxing-especially the adult atmosphere.

Inconsistent housekeeping left much to be desired, and the lack of diverse dining options was disappointing.

The spacious two-bedroom suite provided a fine view, and the well-stocked kitchen made meal prep easy. The array of pools was excellent for relaxation. While the food options for breakfast were limited and there was no restaurant for dinner, the overall experience was enjoyable, especially with the fun activities for kids. The lack of on-site dining was noticeable during the evenings.
